Home Parties – Tips for Making Money Through Home Parties

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

Party planning has greatly gained popularity among direct sellers and those in the multi level marketing community as it has been proven to be one of the best ways to achieve successful transactions. Sales through party planning have proven to be truly effective. By hosting a social event, you will be able to use the event to display and demonstrate your products to your guests. If the party is a success, then you can take orders for the products before the gathering ends. The primary lead generation system for home party plan sales is through the home party itself. Here are some key points you have to keep in mind to throw not just a great home party but one that actually sells!

  • Time – Another concern in throwing parties would be the time. Daytime parties during the week would not be available for people who work during regular business hours. Weekends can be a bit problematic too as some may have already reserved it for family time. The secret to this matter is to consider what sort of people you will be having over so you can plan and schedule a party that most of them if not all will be available for.
  • Location – It is very important to establish a location that is accessible to your guests as well as one that is conducive for the event. In cases where you find that there is not enough room in your own home, call up a friend or a relative and ask to have the gathering over at their place.
  • Party theme – decide whether or not to opt for formal dinners of casual tea afternoons. Put in mind that more formal events tend to intimidate some people from attending. It would be best to come up with a theme that would be comfortable for everyone. Unless the party is planned around a meal, simple finger food is easiest for the host and guests.
  • Guests – The rule is simple: invite as many people as possible. Some people will have prior commitments; others will simply not be interested. So it is always better to come up with a long list so the chances of great turn-outs are good. Suggest on your invitation that people bring along a friend. Expect about half of your list to come.

In throwing your home party, try to relax and keep your cool. Socialize with your guests and show them that you are in charge. It is also important to show interest in your products and be excited about what you have to offer; your guests will then be as well! At the end of the night, you will have the sales to show for it!
